The Council on Diagnosis and Internal Disorders (CDID) maintains and promotes the chiropractic profession as primary health care providers. To support the advancement of scientifically based primary care chiropractic through postgraduate education in advanced diagnosis and integrative methods in the diagnosis and treatment of the human condition. CDID endorses and sponsors a 300 hour diplomate program in advanced diagnostic training leading to the designation of 'Board Certified Chiropractic Internist' The program provides the doctor of chiropractic with additional conventional diagnostic trainging-designed to integrate into a chiropractic practice- that will expand the primary care role of the chiropractic physican. An in-depth review of non-traditional diagnostic methods is included in the program.

Benefits:
Board Certified chiropractic physicans (DABCI) are highly qualified physicians who can perform the duties of the primary care physician but who also have specialized triaing in the natural treatment protocols. This training allows the DC to diagnose and treat the human condition outside the neuromusculoskeletal model with important standardized and scientifically acceptable diagnositic methods as well as provide natural, safe treatment alternatives to conventional medicine-which in many cases involves substantial risk.

Education:
300 post graduate diplomate course in diagnosis and internal disorders.
12 continuing education credits per year
Annual symposium with CE credits (18-24 hours) for all states.
