All instructors must be members of the ACA three consecutive years in good standing. A three year grace period will be permitted for non-members. Approved instructors will be required to demonstrate membership immediately upon being recognized as an approved instructor. All instructors must be members of the CDID three consecutive years in good standing. A three year grace period will be permitted for non-members. Approved instructors will be required to demonstrate membership immediately upon being recognized as an approved instructor. All instructors must be a DABCI who have been practicing as a DABCI for a minimum of 5 years. All instructors must be a postgraduate instructor with an CCE approved chiropractic college. All instructors must be approved by the CDID. The CDID reserves the right to observe, evaluate, and critique an instructor to ensure a quality of instruction commensurate will the goals of the CDID educational committee. All instructors must have an active license in a US jurisdiction. Instructors must agree to submit to a National HealthCare Practitioners Database search to insure their professional and legal status is acceptable to the CDID and there is no history of questionable professional activity ie) criminal felony, drug, or fraud convictions. All instructors must have been published in a peer-reviewed refereed journal. A one and one half year grace period will be permitted. Approved instructors must demonstrate their respective publication to the CDID educational committee within a 1.5 year time period of their appointment.

All non-DABCI instructors (ND, DO, MD) must be subject to the same equivalency standards as a DABCI instructor: Be a member of their national association. Be a member of their specialty council. Be a board certified practitioner of their specialty who has practiced in that capacity for a minimum of 5 years. Be a certified postgraduate instructor through a US Department of Education sanctioned and accredited school of professional health. Be subject to approval criterion of the CDID educational committee. Hold an active license in a US jurisdiction. Instructors must agree to submit to a National HealthCare Practitioners Database search to insure their professional and legal status is acceptable to the CDID and there is no history of questionable professional activity ie) felony, drug, or fraud convictions. Must have been published in a peer-reviewed refereed journal.

All instructors are subject to the following rules: Instructors must notify the CDID and all students of any relationship or association that poses a perceived conflict of financial or otherwise interest with their instruction in the DABCI program. All instructors must abide by rules and regulations set forth by the CDID. Any instructor behavior and/or conduct that may jeopardize the integrity or compromise the educational content of a DABCI program is subject to a CDID educational committee peer review board hearing. The CDID educational committee can recommend corrective action or the loss of instructor privileges if deemed appropriate. The CDID educational committee reserves the right to evaluate and grant special considerations to potential instructors that cannot comply with guidelines due to exceptional circumstances
