Dr. Nicholas LeRoy DC, MS – “The Natural Treatment of Cervical Dysplasia and Human Papilloma Virus”

Dr. Leroy will present the defining factors associated with HPV and CIN. Topics included in the presentation will be the incidence and natural history of these conditions, HPV immunology, malignant transformation, HPV cofactors and predisposing factors, estrogen, folate, and MTHFR mutation. Natural and conventional treatments will be provided.

Erin Lommen ND- “Advanced Neuroendocrinology: Clinical Corrections for Advanced Disease States, Women’s Hormone Imbalances, Cravings, Compulsions and Mood Disorders”

Dr. Lommen will be discussing the adrenal glands and HPA axis dysfunction within the realm of the diagnosis and management of chronic disease. Treatments appropriate for the management of fatigue, depression, IBS, and irregular periods will be provided. Included in Dr. Lommen’s lecture will be integrative strategies to treat common neurotransmitter-associated internal disease. The final portion of the lecture will include discussion of the immune system and management of internal disease to specifically address new solutions for inflammation, overeating, and other compulsive behaviors.

Dr. Taylor will cover the topics of cancer prevalence, diagnostic clues on routine blood work, integrative oncotherapy, oral nutritional medicine, adjuncts to testing, and treatment.

Dr. Jay Mead MD, FASCP- “Immune Hardiness, Men’s Health and Vitality during Andropause and Optimizing Breast Health” and “The Aging Man’s Guide to Robust Health” andBreast Health Update-A Must for the Bust”

Dr. Mead will provide a blueprint for the successful navigation of the diagnosis, management, and treatment of common male health conditions. He will provide insight into the function of the immune system as it relates to inflammatory processes. The three primary concerns of andropause: erectile dysfunction, metabolic syndrome, and muscle-wasting will be discussed in detail. The last portion of Dr. Mead’s presentation will cover research updates, an integrative guide to whole health screening, and the best medicines for optimal breast health.

Dr. Patrick Battaglia DC ”Appropriate diagnostic imaging recommendations and findings”

This 4 hour lecture will review malignancy in all of the main body systems with emphasis on appropriate diagnostic imaging recommendations and findings. Diagnostic imaging modalities covered will include radiography, computed tomography (CT), magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), and ultrasonography (US). This course will supplement didactic lecture with clinical case vignettes to illustrate the applicability of these various imaging modalities in the evaluation of malignancy. The most common malignancies of each system will be emphasized.
